BTL-B Y-Wings were one of the many starfighters used by the Open Circle Fleet during the Clone Wars.

The BTL-B model Y-wing was the predecessor of the later Y-wing used by the Alliance to Restore the Republic. The craft was fully armed with two foward blaster cannons, a backward facing second-man turret and a concealed missle launcher/bomb compartment, Unlike their successors, the BTL-B had a crew of three rather than two. Although a backward facing turret was useful to the BTL-Bs, not all the pilots had good aim. The spacing also made the main engine of the starfighter more vunerable.
